Hiking in the region Reschenpass
Explaining hiking in the Reschen Pass region in few words …
extremely versatile, pure nature, interesting, family hike, mountain tour, alpine huts, mountain lakes.
The walks around the Reschenpass really are extremely varied. You can choose from easy to some real difficult paths, choose and enjoy hiking in the the three country triangle.
For a short pleasant family hike the right choice is for example a lake surrounding around the Haidersee. The much longer version for a surrounding is the 15.7 kilometer long walk around the Resia lake.
A great, not difficult, but in any case recommended hike, the Panorama Path or trail above the Reschen lake. You can take the ski lifts from Piz to Schöneben, from there you walk to the Haideralm and with the gondola back down to the valley. On this route you will always have a wonderful view of the valley and on the Reschen lake.
Two examples for a difficult mountain tour? Choose between the ascent of the Weisskugel (White ball), the next glacier in the area, or the mountain tour to Schartlkopf with starting point in Nauders, the village is just a few kilometers away in Austria.
We especially recommend the tours to the nearby mountain lakes, for example the Grünsee (green lake) or to the Schwarzsee (black lake), as well as to the alpine huts open to the public as the Reschner Alm. Local cooking and pure nature!
